Each piece begins as a lump of raw stoneware on the wheel, shaped entirely by hand into a form that lives somewhere between a plate and a bowl, generous enough to hold a hearty meal, with just enough depth to keep sauces, dressings, and sides exactly where they belong. The result is a piece that's as practical as it is beautiful.
Stoneware is built to last. It's durable, food-safe, and develops a quiet richness over time that mass-produced ceramics simply can't replicate. In other words, these plate bowls are made for daily use.
Because every piece is thrown by hand on the wheel, no two are exactly alike. Subtle variations in form, glaze pooling, and surface texture are not imperfections they're the fingerprints of the process, and the whole point.
